I love listening to or reading a good book so I thought I would share some of my favourites with you. I will keep adding to this as I find new ones. Taking time to read an inspirational book is a great way to take care of ourselves and open our mind to new beliefs and opportunities.

The 5 Second Rule: The Surprisingly Simple Way to Live, Love, and Speak with Courage – this is the book that gave me the “aha” moment that led me to leave my job and start coaching. The 5 second rule is a very simple effective tool that will help you in many areas of your life.

The Chimp Paradox: The Mind Management Programme to Help You Achieve Success, Confidence and Happiness – This book was introduced to me by my wonderful coach. This book really helped me understand why I behaved the way that I did and how to learn to manage behaviours that did not help me.

Becoming by Michelle Obama – I find Michelle an inspirational woman who has a very clear sense of her values and works tirelessly to implement them in her family and professional life.

What I Know for Sure – I love Oprah and this books focuses on what we really do know for sure – which often isn’t what we think it is. This book is full of stories and anecdotes that had a lot of relevance to me and really made me think about what is really important.
